Having owned this set for 7 months now, I highly recommend it. The picture is outstanding, particularly with a progressive scan DVD or a HD tuner. The screen is a matte finish, and thus is one of the few that does not reflect every light in your room. The only drawback I have discerned is the video input switch. You have 2 component inputs and 4 video/S-Video inputs, but must cycle through all of them to get to the one you want. Fortunately, you can "turn off" the inputs you don't use, and the cycling is faster. Other than that, (and not being a wall-hangable flat screen), it's truly perfect. I don't have the remote, but it can be purchased for 25.00 bucks online. I need the money, and I have 2, I only need 1...Great TV for the price. Call or e-mail this post if you're interested.
